Airports and airfields are living areas, which influence us, but they are rarely esthetic. In most cases, conglomerations of different hangar types have been erected by different constructors, each at minimum costs.
Every new project should consequently be fitted into the context of the existing real estate, in order to improve the overall look and as such, in order to increase the overall value of the premises.
It’s our aim to develop attractive buildings, even under the strict principle of “form follows function” and under the very toughest budget constraints. This will not only help to improve the amenity values of airports, but also be a further step to make our airports more attractive for users and visitors.
In any case, decent design does not necessarily cost additional money.
